What does it mean to be left brained or right brained? Well, certain tasks are often associated with either the left side of the brain or the right side. Most of us will use both sides of the brain, but often we prefer or find it easier to do tasks using either the left or the right side. Below is a list of some right and left brain functions.

Take the test

If you see the dancer below spinning clockwise then you are right brain dominated, if you see her spinning anti-clocking then you are left brain dominate (the dancer may appear faster or slower depending on the internet browser you are using).

Some people can see her spinning clockwise and anti-clockwise. HINT: Try doing a left brain function (solve a math problem) if you see her spinning clockwise, and try doing a right brain function (be creative) if you see her spinning anti-clockwise. This can sometimes help to change directions.

Thats normal. Sometimes happens when you are thinking about different things, and you start to use more of the left or right side of the brain.

That picture changes. Its set to spin clockwise and after a certain amount of time it spins counter-clockwise. Just start paying attention to which leg she uses to spin and you'll see that she switches from her right to her left.
